Pieces shown below were cast in silver using the tufa stone molds. Tufa molds may be reused a few times, but if they have finer details, they may only be good for one pour. For instance, the two dog brooches were made using the same tufa mold, but the mold had to be modified after the first pour because the pattern shown on the bottom dog was damaged.
